The Los Angeles (1-1) hope to duplicate their game-winning formula from last game as they are set to face the Sacramento Kings (1-1). Superstar guard Luca Doncic scored 49 points in the Lakers 128-110 win over the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves. Reports of late have addressed some concerns for the Lakers main scoring threat as he is nursing a finger injury. And while Luca has been listed as questionable for tonight’s game, he will likely suit up and be available.

Austin Reaves and Rui Hachimura have been great offensively but the Lakers will need to tune things up on the defensive end if Los Angeles wants to leave the Golden 1 Center with a victory. Bench scoring could help as well as the Lakers role players have only been able to score 29 points over two games.

The Sacramento Kings (1-1) are also looking to extend their winning streak after defeating the visiting Utah Jazz 105-104 in a tight contest. Guard Zach Levine lead all players with 31 points while Dennis Schroder added 17. Malik Monk provided some much needed help off the bench, scoring 20 points for the night. New addition Russel Westbrook also contributed 7 points in his 17 minutes of action. The Kings will need more help from the likes of veteran forward DeMar DeRozon, who was only able to etch out 7 points in 37 minutes of floor time.
Tip-off is at 6:00 pm at Golden 1 Center tonight.
